My name is Evonne, mother of two children with autism, anxiety and attachment issues.
'For the journey' was founded following the lengthy problems my children have faced; throughout their treatment, their plans were always referred to as their journey, hence our shop name.

One of the techniques that we use that works well, is the grounding technique along side worry stones.

I have created fun, colourful, resplendent resin products that work as worry/grounding objects. Using sensory texture and visual bright colours and glitter, they can help link to a safe place.

Having attachment issues, my children found these to be comforting as they took a piece of home with them.
